Prepping for a Clover Baby & Kids Photoshoot

Prepping for a Clover Baby & Kids Photoshoot

Capturing our playful designs in photos is no small feat, but with some creativity and a whole lot of love, twice a year we spend time in a photography studio bringing our latest prints to life! Today, we are taking you behind the scenes on how we prepare for a photoshoot.

  1. Seasonal Concept & Creative Direction

Jenna is the woman behind the overall creative vision for our brand photography. She designs charming backdrops and sources props that help tell the story and inspiration behind our prints. We’ve acquired quite the mix of props over the years – any kid would have a field day if they found our stash!

  1. Shoot Location

The location/studio we select for our shoot is particularly important because we invite so many kids on set. We regularly work with Commercial Photographer Charlie Wrzesniewski who has a gorgeous studio in Philadelphia and is wonderfully accomodating to all the kiddos! He has been a great partner over the years and has an impressive list of clients. Check out Charlie’s portfolio here

  1. Talent

Nikki finds our pint sized "models" through our wonderfully supportive network of family and friends. We have been lucky to host many lovely families at our shoots over the years, and lots have come back for a second time!
Representing real and diverse families is a priority for us when selecting talent, but beyond that we just want to make sure the kids are at ease and enjoying themselves on set! Clover products are meant to be fun and functional, and we want our photoshoots to be one of many family memories made in Clover products.
