The Power of Collaboration

At Clover Baby & Kids, we believe in the power of collaboration. Since launching our brand, we’ve enjoyed connecting with like-minded female entrepreneurs, amplifying each other’s missions, and creating something truly special for parents and their children.

This Women’s History Month, we’re thrilled to launch a new partnership with Pluie, a female-led company dedicated to enhancing the parenting experience. (Stay tuned for launch details!) What we’re most proud of isn’t just the results of this collaboration, but the spirit of what it represents—the strength of community and the unity of female-led businesses.

Both Clover Baby & Kids and Pluie are committed to supporting parents with thoughtfully designed, high-quality products that make life easier. But beyond our products, we share a deep commitment to empowering women in business. Proof of this is how our partnership came to be.

Over a year ago, Pluie reached out to us by chance after Clover was listed as a brick-and-mortar retailer they were targeting for their diaper changing stations. We kindly replied to let them know we weren’t a fit for their product since Clover didn’t have retail space, but that sparked an email conversation which turned into a call to discuss best practices. From there, this collaboration was born. It’s a perfect example of how taking chances and being open to helping others can spark something bigger.

The Pluie x Clover Baby & Kids collaboration is a celebration of this collective strength, demonstrating that when women come together, they can create meaningful, innovative products that resonate with our values.

  • Tell us about Pluie in one to two sentences, and how it’s made a difference for moms and parents.

    • A few years ago, Pluie made waves by introducing the world's first and only self-sanitizing diaper changing table for public restrooms, now found in nearly every state across the U.S. Recently, they've expanded their innovative approach with the launch of the Pret® Changing Clutch—a stylish, machine-washable diaper changing mat—and an antimicrobial teether. Pluie is committed to providing modern, cleaner, and more convenient solutions for families on the go, offering peace of mind to parents and caregivers in public spaces.

  • What’s been one of the most rewarding parts of your journey at Pluie so far, especially in terms of supporting moms and families? 

    • One of the most fulfilling experiences on our journey at Pluie has been the heartfelt messages we receive from moms and families who adore our diaper changing tables, mats, and teethers. These texts, emails, and DMs from strangers affirm that we're not just making diaper changes easier, but also adding a touch of joy to a routine task. As fellow moms, this feedback reassures us that we're on the right path, making a meaningful difference in the lives of families everywhere.

  • What do you think makes this collaboration special, especially in the context of empowering women and mothers?

    • It's the fact that both brands are not only founded, owned, and operated by women, but by moms who understand the unique challenges and joys of motherhood. Our journey with Nikki, Shannon and Jenna has been a delightful experience, from the initial design samples to the strategic marketing launch plans— all fueled by a shared passion to introduce a much-needed product to the market. We've transformed the ordinary diaper changing pad into a stylish and practical accessory that moms everywhere adore.
  • Can you share any challenges or memorable moments from working on this collaboration, particularly around creating products that resonate with parents?

    • This exciting partnership began with a serendipitous email to one of the Clover Baby & Kids founders in October 2023. Her email address was included in a mass email campaign about our diaper changing tables for children’s boutiques, and her response was filled with warmth and encouragement. Fast forward to today, and we're thrilled to unveil a special edition of the Pret® Changing Clutch in Clover's signature Rainbows Blue and Pink! Both brands share a vision of infusing fun and innovation into our products while championing and uplifting our communities.

  • Women’s History Month is a time to celebrate achievements. What women—whether in your life or in your business—have shaped the way you approach motherhood and entrepreneurship?

    • In early 2021, when we formally launched Pluie into the world, we received an overwhelming amount of support from other female entrepreneurs and business owners—some of whom were also in the early stages of launching a business and others who had successfully exited. It was then that we decided to create an organic social media campaign to highlight the many incredible women who have come into our professional lives. Over the years, these remarkable women have evolved from being our sources of inspiration to becoming our trusted confidants, cherished friends, and staunchest supporters.
